DESCRIPTION:On April 23\, the Alaska Nurses Association is hosting Nurses 
 in the Neighborhood\, a community event to celebrate and promote the nursi
 ng profession.  \n\nNurses in the Neighborhood will be held on Wednesday
 \, April 23 from 4-7 PM at Alaska Pacific University's Atwood Center. \n\
 nThis event will feature information on nursing specialties and education 
 programs\, highlighting the profession to high school and college student
 s who may be considering a career in nursing.\n\nHighlights include:\n\n 	
 20+ nurses from across Alaska sharing professional stories and insights\n 
 	Nursing education programs sharing resources and admissions information\n
  	Interactive lab tours\, videos\, and a “Wall of Dreams” where attend
 ees can share their goals\n 	A selfie station and other engaging\, nursing
 -themed activities\n 	Local news media invited to cover and celebrate the 
 contributions of nurses\n\nVolunteer Opportunity\nWant to volunteer at the
  event to connect with the community and showcase your specialty? Your par
 ticipation would greatly enhance the event and help us inspire the next ge
