Investigation & Prevention of Infectious Disease in Alaska
Presented by Marguerite Leeds, MSN, RN

In Alaska, certain infectious diseases must be reported. These include vaccine-preventable illnesses, food-borne illnesses, and others.

Anchorage public health nurse Marguerite Leeds will explain what happens after a disease is reported and discuss local trends. You’ll also take home plenty of ideas for collaboration to improve the health of our patients and communities.
