 \n 	The Alaska rate for elder physical abuse is 2.4 times the national rat
 e.\n 	Elder psychological abuse is 1.6 times higher than the national rate
 .\n 	An assault occurs in Alaska every hour.\n\nDespite the state's high l
 evel of violence\, many areas of the state lack the ability to document an
 d collect medical evidence to help protect victims of crime. With the ACFT
 A's accessible training\, you can learn how to provide trauma-informed\, e
 vidence-driven care to help increase the safety of our communities.\n\nThe
  Alaska Comprehensive Forensic Training Academy is designed for nurses and
  healthcare professionals who seek to provide evidence-based and trauma-in
 formed care to victims of violence. It is a partnership between the Alaska
  Council on Domestic Violence &amp\; Sexual Assault\, the UAA College of H
 ealth\, and the Alaska Nurses Association.\n\nThe course consists of 20-25
