 stest growing segment of the U.S. population. With this population growth\
 , medical centers are seeing a proportionate increase in the occurrence of
  trauma in geriatric patients.\n\nJoin us at Tuesday Talks this month wher
 e presenter Krista Ralls will discuss the epidemiology\, mechanisms of inj
 ury\, triage\, primary and secondary survey\, and outcomes for the geriatr
 ic trauma patient.\n\nGet informed about the unique trauma considerations\
 , evaluation\, and management for seniors\, whose needs\, care\, and outco
 mes vary considerably from younger patients.\n\nHow to Register\n\nRegistr
 ation is required. After registering\, you will receive an email with your
  personal link to join the presentation on Zoom. Please plan to join the w
 ebinar a few minutes early. You must attend a minimum of 90% of the event 
 and complete an online evaluation to receive contact hours.\n\nRegister fo
 r Tuesday Talks\n\nAnswers to Common Questions\n\nCan I still receive cont
 act hours if I only attend a portion of the event? You must attend a minim
 um of 90% of the event to receive contact hours.\n\nWhat else do I need t
 o do to earn contact hours? In addition to attending at least 90% of the 
 presentation\, you must also complete an online evaluation within 24 hours
  to receive contact hours.\n\nHow do I complete the required evaluation? T
 he evaluation link is shared in the chatbox at the end of the presentation
  and closes after 24 hours. This is the only way we distribute the link.\
 n\nWhen will I receive my certificate? Certificates are emailed within two
  weeks of the presentation to the email provided at registration.\n\nAbout

 fically for Alaskan nurses. Every month\, we explore a unique and enrichin
 g topic with a local expert. Designed to elevate your nursing knowledge an
 d practice\, Tuesday Talks offers free contact hours to participants. The 
 event series is hosted on Zoom and welcomes nurses across Alaska. Attendan
 ce is open to both AaNA members and non-members.\n\nAbout AaNA’s CE Prog
