Submit resolutions to the AaNA General Assembly to guide our work in 2025!
Our General Assembly is quickly approaching and members of the Alaska Nurses Association are encouraged to submit resolutions for consideration.
AaNA’s 2024 General Assembly is scheduled for Saturday, October 5 at 1:00 PM at Grant Hall on the Alaska Pacific University campus. Remote attendance will also be offered via Zoom. The General Assembly is composed of AaNA members and is our highest governing and official voting body. Resolutions passed by the General Assembly serve as a compass for action in the following year.
This is your chance to put your ideas into action. We’ve created a helpful guide to assist you in writing and submitting your resolution. In the guide, you will find in-depth information on our General Assembly and resolution process, the required components of resolutions, an example resolution template, and links to prior years’ resolutions that have been passed by the General Assembly.
Please note that resolutions for consideration by the 2024 General Assembly should be submitted via email to AaNA programs director Andrea Nutty (andrea@aknurse.org) by September 5, 2024.
