Save the date! AaNA’s 2026 General Assembly is scheduled for Friday, October 2 at 1:15 PM. All AaNA members are invited and encouraged to attend.
The General Assembly is composed of AaNA members and is our highest governing and official voting body. Attending the General Assembly is a great way to meet members of the Board of Directors and Labor Council, review our organizational progress, and help set goals and priorities for 2027.
AaNA’s General Assembly is held in conjunction with our 2026 Trending Topics in Nursing Conference. Members can attend in-person at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage or online via Zoom. RSVP links will become available in September.
AaNA members are encouraged to submit resolutions for consideration by the General Assembly. Resolutions passed by the General Assembly serve as a compass for action in the following year.
This is your chance to put your ideas into action. We’ve created a helpful guide to assist you in writing and submitting your resolution. In the guide, you will find information on our General Assembly and resolution process, the required components of resolutions, an example resolution template, and links to prior years’ resolutions that have been passed by the General Assembly.
Please note that resolutions for consideration by the 2026 General Assembly should be submitted via email to AaNA programs director Andrea Nutty (an****@*****se.org) by September 2, 2026.
