INHOSPITABLE follows a group of patients and activists who face life-or-death consequences as they battle a billion-dollar nonprofit hospital system. The film shines a light on a dirty little secret of the healthcare industry: that non-profit hospitals often hold monopolistic power and employ business practices that seek to maximize profits rather than community benefits.
$10 gets you in the door, and part of this event’s proceeds will go to the Foundation for Alaska Nurses.
