Menopause
Presented by Barbara Norton, APRN, CNM
Learn the truth about menopause at this month’s Tuesday Talks, featuring presenter Barbara Norton, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner who specializes in menopause and women’s sexual health.
Menopause is finally getting the attention and awareness it deserves. Ongoing research continues to improve our understanding of this life transition and how best to support those experiencing it.
Yet longstanding myths and outdated clinical approaches persist. Increased public interest in menopause has also brought a flood of wellness marketing and social media advice that doesn’t always align with the evidence.
Join us to explore three frequently debated topics in menopause care and the common misconceptions surrounding them: midlife weight gain, menopausal hormone therapy, and testosterone use in women.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of current research, treatment considerations, and what the evidence says—and doesn’t say—about some of the most common claims surrounding menopause.
