Parent-Child Interaction Therapy
Presented by Geri Hernandez, MEd, LPC-S
Parenting isn’t always easy, and handling your child’s behavior issues can be a daunting and difficult task.
That’s where Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) comes in. Designed for young children and their caregivers, PCIT is a structured, family-based therapy that uses live coaching to give caregivers the tools needed to support their child in an effective way.
PCIT focuses on the importance of play, structure, and stability within the relationship using a child-led and parent-led approach.
Join us at Tuesday Talks this month to learn about PCIT and how this treatment can strengthen family relationships, decrease stress, and promote positive behaviors in young children.
