
Nurses in the Neighborhood will be held on Wednesday, April 23 from 4-7 PM at Alaska Pacific University’s Atwood Center.
This event will feature information on nursing specialties and education programs, highlighting the profession to high school and college students who may be considering a career in nursing.
Highlights include:
- 20+ nurses from across Alaska sharing professional stories and insights
- Nursing education programs sharing resources and admissions information
- Interactive lab tours, videos, and a “Wall of Dreams” where attendees can share their goals
- A selfie station and other engaging, nursing-themed activities
- Local news media invited to cover and celebrate the contributions of nurses
