Geriatric Trauma
Presented by Krista Ralls, MSN, RN, TCRN, CEN

Adults 65 years and older are the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population. With this population growth, medical centers are seeing a proportionate increase in the occurrence of trauma in geriatric patients.

Join us at Tuesday Talks this month where presenter Krista Ralls will discuss the epidemiology, mechanisms of injury, triage, primary and secondary survey, and outcomes for the geriatric trauma patient.

Get informed about the unique trauma considerations, evaluation, and management for seniors, whose needs, care, and outcomes vary considerably from younger patients.
