AaNA’s 2025 Board of Directors Election and 2025 Joint Board of Directors & Labor Council and AFT Delegate Election are underway!
Our annual elections are your opportunity to cast your vote for members of AaNA’s Board of Directors, AaNA’s Labor Council, and AaNA’s Delegates to the 2026 AFT Convention — leaders who will serve our union and association, our profession, and most importantly, our members.
How to Vote
Voting opens on Wednesday, August 27 at 5 PM and closes on Wednesday, September 17 at 5 PM.
Our elections will be conducted through a secure online voting platform. Voting invitations will be snail mailed to all eligible voters. All voters with a valid email address on file will receive an email invitation to vote on Wednesday, August 27 at 5 PM. To update your mailing address or email address with AaNA, please email an****@ak*****.org.
AaNA Professional Members will receive one invitation to vote in the AaNA Board of Directors Election.
AaNA Union Members will receive one invitation to vote in both the AaNA Board of Directors Election and the AaNA Joint Board of Directors & Labor Council and AFT Delegate Election.

Voter Eligibility
AaNA Board of Directors Election
As provided in the AaNA bylaws, any member who is in good standing (as of July 28, 2025) is eligible to vote in the AaNA Board of Directors Election, except for Associate members, who are members but have no voting rights, and union-represented non-members, who are not members and have no voting rights.
AaNA Joint Board of Directors & Labor Council and AFT Delegate Election
As provided in the AaNA bylaws, any union member (at PAMC, CPH, PHKMC & PAHWC) who is in good standing (as of July 28, 2025) is eligible to vote in the AaNA Joint Board of Directors & Labor Council and AFT Delegate Election. Nurses who are fee payers or are otherwise in a non-member status are not members and have no voting rights.
